PRACTICE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME POSITION)
Practice Assistant (part-time position): Part-time position working with Corporate and Real Estate attorney focusing on client billing and accounts receivable. Responsibilities include coordinating client billing/payments and tracking/following up on related A/R matters. Duties include, but not limited to:
• Monitoring, coordinating and facilitating the processing of client bills
• Maintaining payment spreadsheet; coordinating payments with clients
• Preparing correspondence and documents related to client billing
• Providing back-up legal administrative assistant support
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years’ administrative/accounting/financial recordkeeping experience. Additional qualifications include excellent written and oral communication skills, proactive work ethic, attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks/deadlines. Strong day-to-day organizational skills, a client service focus and ability to work as part of a team are essential. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Hours: 21 hours per week; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. three days a week (Monday through Friday); some flexibility on days and hours.
